Xiaomi recently introduced HyperOS 2, but at first, it only provided a release timeline for updates in China. Although a leaked schedule surfaced, it turned out to be inaccurate. Now, Xiaomi has officially revealed the correct update plan, and the good news is that we won’t have to wait until 2025 for the new OS.

In fact, some devices will receive the update as soon as this month. The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will be the first to get HyperOS 2, followed by the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra. The Xiaomi 13T Pro is also in line for the update, but the regular 13T is not. Additionally, the Redmi Note 13 series and various Poco models—including the X6, X6 Pro, F6 Pro, and M6 Pro—are scheduled for a November release. The Mix Flip will also be an early recipient of the new operating system.

Last month, Xiaomi was focused on preparing for its upcoming product launches. The company unveiled a new range of flagship smartphones, a premium tablet, and several wearable devices. However, there’s still no word on when the Xiaomi 15 series will be available globally outside of China.

In addition, Xiaomi has revealed its official rollout plan for HyperOS 2.0, with details shared below. The update will be distributed in two phases, covering November and December. Starting this month, the following devices are expected to begin receiving the HyperOS 2.0 update:

It appears that Xiaomi is focusing on its latest flagship models, such as the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. However, the company is also offering nearly 40 mid-range devices and previous flagship models, which we’ve detailed below. Notably, the Xiaomi 14 (currently available under ₹50,000 on Amazon) is already receiving Android 15, though it’s being rolled out as HyperOS 1.1 rather than HyperOS 2.0. For context, Xiaomi’s global HyperOS 2.0 release differs from the version launched in China last month.

The December update schedule will cover a range of devices, including the Xiaomi 13T, Poco F6, and M6, alongside several older models. This includes the Xiaomi 13, 12, and 11 series, as well as the 12T and 12T Pro. Both the 4G and 5G variants of the Redmi 13 and 12, along with the Redmi Note 12 series, are also set for updates next month.

In addition, several older Poco models such as the X5 Pro, F5, F5 Pro, X4 GT, and F4 GT will receive the update. Newer phones like the Poco C75, which launched just this October with HyperOS version 1, are also included in the update list.
